Portable Solar Power Station with Folding Panel

The power went out at 6:42 p.m., which is exactly when the slow cooker was 40 minutes from being dinner. Upstairs, someone announced that their phone was at 3% "and this is a crisis." The dog, who doesn't believe in crises, went back to sleep.

This is the moment our Portable Solar Power Station was made for. It's a quiet, suitcase-sized battery that keeps the small things going: phones, a lamp, the Wi-Fi router, the baby monitor. No pull cord, no fumes, and no standing in the driveway at midnight wondering whether you remembered gas.

In the morning, unfold the panel on the porch rail or a sunny patch of lawn and let it refill while you make coffee the old-fashioned way. On ordinary weekends it goes camping, tailgating, or out to the garden shed. Then it waits patiently in the closet, ready before the rain.

How long it runs depends on what you plug in and how bright the sky is. We'll post real-world run times once our supplier is finalized, so you know what to expect instead of guessing.

What to expect

• A portable power station of about 500Wh with AC outlets and USB-A/USB-C ports
• A folding solar panel of up to about 100W with a built-in stand
• Recharges from sunlight, a wall outlet, or a car outlet (cables vary by model)
• Quiet, fume-free power (always follow the manufacturer's usage guidance)
• Charge time depends on sunlight, panel angle, and weather

Coming soon: we're finalizing our supplier, so this one isn't available to order just yet.
