The Filabot EX3 Full Recycling Setup is an all-in-one closed-loop system that transforms failed 3D prints and plastic waste into spooled filament ready for your 3D printer. Designed for universities, research labs, makerspaces, sustainability programs, and additive manufacturing teams, this complete package combines size reduction, pelletizing, extrusion, cooling, inline diameter measurement, and spooling in one integrated workflow.
Complete Closed-Loop Recycling Workflow
- Step 1 - Shred & Granulate (Filabot Reclaimer): Breaks down failed prints and plastic waste through a two-stage shredder and granulator into extrudable particles.
- Step 2 - Compound & Chop (EX3 Extruder + Filabot Pelletizer): Extrudes regrind and chops strands into uniform pellets for consistent feeding and blending.
- Step 3 - Extrude, Cool, Measure & Spool (EX3 Extruder + Airpath + Filameasure + Spooler): Converts recycled pellets into tight-tolerance 1.75 mm or 2.85 mm spooled filament.
