The Filabot Reclaimer is a heavy-duty two-stage plastic shredder and granulator that breaks down failed 3D prints, purge waste, and plastic parts into extrudable particles ready for reprocessing in Filabot extruders. In stage one, hardened A2 steel shredder blades reduce large plastic parts into smaller chunks; in stage two, a 17-4 stainless steel granulator drum cuts those pieces down to final extrudable granule size.

Two-Stage Plastic Size Reduction

  • Stage 1 - Shredder: 0.25" wide A2 hardened steel rotating blades paired with reversible 0.50" 4140 steel fixed blades break down bulky failed prints and waste plastic.
  • Stage 2 - Granulator: 0.20" x 0.20" 17-4 hardened stainless steel cutting teeth and reversible 0.50" 4140 steel fixed blades produce fine regrind suitable for drying and extrusion (minimum input material thickness approx. 0.030" / 0.75 mm).
  • Built for Closed-Loop Recycling: Pair with a Filabot extruder and Pelletizer to grind waste plastic, dry, extrude, pelletize, and spool high-tolerance recycled filament.
